Hi, I'm Mary Pierce (MK)! The 'K' stands for Kathryn. I love photography and primarily shoot my travel adventures. 

Living in Madison for the past 10 years, I've been able to capture a lot of Wisconsin during all our beautiful seasons. However, the majority of my work is from my international travels. 

My passion for travel has been a defining characteristic and it manifests itself in my photography (and in my credit card bills). I was fortunate enough to travel for work in the years leading up to the COVID pandemic and decided I needed a change of pace. Now, I have a 9-5 that allows me tons of travel flexibility, and all my travel time is spend chasing the best shots all over the world. 

I love shooting natural landscapes, cities, iconic landmarks, and snapshots from every day life. I've been lucky enough to step foot in a new country almost every year since I studied abroad in 2018. 

The goal of MK Photos is not just to show how I see the world and my attempt to pass on the beauty that I find in the day to day, but to also inspire others to find adventures in the mundane, and comfort in the unknown.
